Our stories educate, engage and inspire

Crafted and produced by award-winning artists and activists

We are a female-led, independent London-based film production company. We produced the BAFTA-nominated and 6x BIFA nominated feature film, APOSTASY (Frank & Lively, iFeatures, BFI, Creative England, BBC). Released by Curzon Artificial Eye, this film centres around three female leads and boasts a 50% female crew. Critically acclaimed, APOSTASY went on to earn a total of 22 international nominations, taking home five, including Screen International’s film of the year.

In the narrative space, our films have premiered at high profile film festivals globally, including Toronto International Film Festival, San Sebastian and London International Film Festival. Favouring stories that tackle gender inequality, our debut documentary, Summer School, premiered at the Women of the World (WOW) Festival (2010) and was presented by the Gender Research Group. Today, we continue to develop features and shorts with female characters at the heart.

Carrying this ethos through to the learning space, we continue to challenge stereotypes and provide opportunities for diverse voices. With over 25 industry-recognised awards earned for the stories we tell, our creative-first approach raises the bar on learning in uniquely inclusive and engaging ways.
