Daniel Kokotajlo wins Writer’s Guild gong

We are delighted to announce our film APOSTASY has won another worthy award. In recognition of APOSTASY’S screenplay, the award was presented by the WGGB (Writer’s Guild of Great Britain), a trade union that represents and champions professional British writers. We are extremely pleased that our first feature has been recognised by the industry.
The award was presented by Screenwriter, Tom Williams, at the lavish event that marked the union’s 60th anniversary. Olivia Hetreed, President of the WGGB, noted that “Sixty years on from the founding of the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain it is thrilling to see that British writing and British writers are in such great shape, with a fantastic array of winners.” Going up to collect the Best First Screenplay award on stage, our Screenwriter and Director, Dan Kokotajlo, thanked Apostasy’s cast and crew before walking away with a well-deserved gong.
